Richard Hill began his golf career as a junior at Scunthorpe Golf Club, North Lincolnshire at the tender age of 11. By the time he was 15 he had achieved a handicap of 4 and was playing for Lincolnshire Juniors and their second team.

He moved south in 1978 and studied with Doug Sewell at Ferndown Golf Club until 1983 when he became a Full Professional and joined John Sharkey at Queens Park Golf Club in Bournemouth. He became Head Professional in 1988 and remained there until 2004 when he left to teach at Parley Golf Centre.

Richard joined us at Ferndown Forest Driving Range in February 2011 offering coaching and game improvement lessons to golfers of all standards as well as those all important refresher and diagnostic sessions to get your game back on track. He utilises both his personal teaching studio on the driving range and the course, depending on your individual requirements.

Richard is very approachable and is willing to chat or advise, with no obligation, to see if there is anything that can be done to improve any aspect of your game.
